Bob Bratton

Bob Allen Bratton of Odessa, Texas, age 85, passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2013 in Crane, Texas.

Bob was born in Floydada, Texas to Robbie and Arthur Bratton on December 1, 1927. He graduated high school in Floydada. He married Nelda Huckabee on September 28, 1948. He moved from farming to work in the oil field where he made his career. He was a member of Highland Untied Methodist Church in Odessa, Texas.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Janette Lackey.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Nelda Bratton his daughter, Vicky Bratton son, Allen Bratton son, Barry and his wife, Lori Bratton grandchildren Kelly Bearman, Robert Bratton, Jennifer Bratton, Paul Mooney, Jessica Bolton, Daniel Bratton, Marissa Bratton, Alyssa Bratton and Lindsey LaRoque, and 4 great grandchildren.

Funeral services are at 10:30 AM Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dot Lea officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Memorials may be given to Highland United Methodist Church or StarCare Hospice of Odessa, Texas.
