Bobby Penn

Bobby Gene Penn, 77 of Odessa, passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2008 at his residence. He was born on July 14, 1931 in Cisco, Texas to Calvin George Penn and Annie May Owings Penn. He was married to Odessa Pearl Kile on November 26, 1951. He was a longtime resident of Odessa and was a frequent guest at the local coffee shops.

He recently accepted Christ as his Savior on August 13, 2008.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 56 years, Odessa Penn; one daughter Sharon Sharp and husband Owen; three sons, Ben Penn and wife Diane, Terry Penn and wife Vicki, and Randy Penn and wife Sharon, all of Odessa; eleven grandchildren, Aaron Sharp and wife Elaina of Little Elm, Tx., Casey Penn of Odessa, Brandy Walker and husband Greg of McCamey, Tx., Tosha Skelton and husband Phil, Trisha Chavez and husband Vic, all of Odessa, Kelli Jester and husband Justin of Edmond, Ok., Lindsey Penn and Christopher Rover Penn, Trista and Rick Ramsey, Dallas Penn and Katie, Dustin Penn, two great-grandchildren, Madilynn Penn and Taylor Ramsey, all of Odessa; three sisters, Rheta Brown and husband Dwayne of Hardesty, Ok., Rose Dawn Gaunder and husband Jimmy of Calera, Ok. Joann Kell and husband Sonny of Spearman, Tx; and numerous cousins, friends and relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents and six brothers.

Services will be held on Tuesday September 30, 2008 at 10:00 am at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with John Lyons officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
