Bonnie Boden

Bonnie June Boden, age 79, of Odessa, TX, passed away peacefully from this life to be with her Lord and Savior on August 17, 2015 while at her home with her children.

Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 pm, Friday, August 21, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be at 10:00 am, Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Bonnie was born in Winter, TX to V.W. and Lula Mae Phillips on August 6, 1936. Her family moved to Brownwood, TX in 1941 where she attended elementary school. Her family moved to Odessa, TX in 1948 and she graduated from Odessa High School in 1955. She was married to Richard Boden for forty-one years before his passing in 2004. She worked nights at an answering service for several years and stayed home with her children during the days. She was involved in many church and school activities over the years. She enjoyed her home, working in her yard and spending time with her family.

Bonnie is preceded in death by her husband Richard Boden; brothers, David Dean and Larry Phillips; sister, Helen White.

Bonnie is survived by her son, Jerry Boden and his wife Charlayne, Randy and his wife Kristy, John Boden; daughter, Kim Armitage and her husband Jerry; brother,
Leon Phillips; grandchildren, Kacie Boden, Joshua Boden, Justin Boden, Ben Boden, Chad Boden, Jacob Armitage and Kyla Armitage.
