Bonny Earnest

Bonny Jean Rogers Earnest, of Odessa, Texas, met her heavenly Father Saturday, May 18, 2013. She was born June 2, 1926 in Okemah, Oklahoma to Bonnie Luther Rogers and Florence Elizabeth Johnson. JR Earnest and Bonny married April 13, 1946 at Calvary Baptist Church in Okemah, Oklahoma.

Loved ones who preceded Bonny in death include her parents sistersMarcella Thed Dodson and Mary Lavene Pitts step motherNola Rogers Barnard soninlawDarwin Brown and infant triplet great grandchildren Noah, Ila, and Isabella

Those left to honor her memory include: her husband, JR Earnest of Odessa, Texas her four children, Kathy Hoggatt of Albequerque, New Mexico Virginia Lee John of Aubrey, Texas Gerald Earnest Pam of Odessa, Texas and Judy Brown of Springfield, Missouri her grandchildren: Bill Hoggatt, Tim Hoggatt Kimberly, Becky HoggattDandade Tushar, Chad Earnest Amy, Chris Earnest Cheyenne, Jennifer Mayo Joe, Jonathan Lee Melissa, Jeff Brown, Rodney Brown Heidi, and Greg Brown Becca her sister, Yvonne Mac Hadley and 17 greatgrandchildren. Last, but not least, she leaves behind her constant companion, Charlietheir little black Dachshund sent by God

Funeral arrangements are Wednesday, May 22 under the direction of Sunset Memorial Gardens. A celebration of Bonnys life will be held at Sherwood Baptist Church at 505 E. 42nd Street, Odessa, Texas 79762 at 11:00 AM with Ivy Shelton officiating. A graveside service is at 2:00 PM at Andrews County Cemetery North at 401 North West 14th Street, Andrews, Texas 79714 with Joe Mayo officiating.

The family would like to say, Thank You to Judy Taylor, Grandmas caregiver and friend, for taking such good care of Bonny, JR, and Charlie these past two years. We could not have done it without you
