Brenda Austin

Brenda Jean Austin (Brandee), of Odessa, Texas, passed away on May 9, 2015 in Odessa, Texas.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 11, 2015 at 10:00am at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend David Wyatt, officiating. Burial will be held in Premont, Texas on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at 10:00am. Arrangements are under the direction of Sunset Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.

Brandee Austin was born in Falfurrias, Texas to Bobby T. Austin and Quanah B. Austin on January 11, 1958. She graduated high school in Georgetown, Texas and earned a Bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University and her Master's degree in Education from the University of Houston. She worked as a teacher for 13 years in Rosenburg, Texas and Odessa, Texas.

Brandee is preceded in death by her father, Bobby T. Austin.

Brandee is survived by her mother Quanah Austin, sister Leslie Neiman, brother-in-law Michael Neiman, nephews Austin and Samuel Neiman, aunt Patricia Wright and uncle Clyde Wright, Jr., of Alice, Texas, cousins Kim Hill of Corpus Christi and Carrie Lynn Bedwell of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and a dear friend who loved her like a sister, Betty Gray of Odessa, Texas.

Brandee was the best sister in the world and is owed a huge debt of gratitude by her favorite sister Leslie. Thank you Jesus for Brandee.
