Brent Alan Huber, 63, of Odessa, Texas was called to his heavenly home on 5/23/18 in his home surrounded by family.
Viewing will be held at 9 AM with funeral services at 10 AM on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on JBS Parkway in Odessa, Texas with Bishop Kurt Coombs officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery and arrangements are by Sunset funeral home.
Brent Alan Huber was born in Odessa Texas to Stanley Paul Huber and Theda Francis Huber on 7/8/1954. He went to Odessa high school. He married Reba Jean Golden on 6/28/1977 in the Mesa Arizona Temple. He worked as a Repair Technician at Southwestern Bell Telephone company for 33 years. He was involved in the Prop Busters RC Airplane Club, he played many years as a pitcher for the Stormin Mormons slow pitch softball team. He dedicated his life to the Lord by serving in various callings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where he also served for 2 yrs. in the California Anaheim mission at age 19.
Brent is preceded in death by his parents Stanley and Theda Huber and Brother Wayne Huber.
Brent is survived by his wife Reba children Taff(Melanie)Huber, Trent(Meghan)Huber, Mindy(Fred) Arp and Heather (Clay) Stock and his sister Susan(Bryce) Shiner of Broomfield Colorado and 14 grandchildren.
His Greatest love in life was his family and felt so blessed to have them all live so near.
Pallbearers will be Taff Huber, Trent Huber, Clay Stock, Ty Huber, Errick Huber, Rodd Huber, John Jackson and Ethan Ormsby.
The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. George and Dr. Kazor as well as all the nurses and technicians at The West Texas Oncology Center along with Hospice.
Arrangements are under the direction of Sunset Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.
