Bricky Clifford Dee Marlar, age 81, of Odessa, passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2012 in Odessa.
Bricky was born December 30, 1930 in Sunny Side, Texas to Paul and Lannie Marlar. He went to school at Lorenzo and graduated from Lorenzo High School in 1948. He married Bobbie Lobstein on June 4, 1950 in Lorenzo, Texas. He retired as supervisor for Shell Oil Company. He was a deacon at Chapel Hills Baptist Church and at First Baptist Church in Odessa.
Bricky was preceded in death by his father, Paul Beck Marlar and his sister, Glenna Elyne Smith.
Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Marlar of Odessa his mother, Lannie Marlar of Lubbock his son, Coy Marlar and wife Cindi of Midland his daughter, Lana and husband Wayne Wallace of Odessa grandchildren, Beck Marlar, Casey Marlar, Wesley Hunt, Robert Hunt, Jason Wallace, Kristy Andrews, and Keri Vaught eleven great grandchildren and his favorite dog, Wally.
Visitation with the family will be 24 PM Sunday, June 17, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Monday, June 18, 2012 at First Baptist Church with Johnny Young officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Robert Hunt, Randy Morris, Beck Marlar, Mike Roach, and Jason Wallace.
