Candyce Jane Drummond, (Candy), passed away August 23, 2018 in Midland, Texas.

The Visitation will be August 27, 2018 at Stonegate Fellowship in Midland, TX from 6:00-8:00 PM in the Prayer Room.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on August 28, 2018 at Stonegate Fellowship in Midland, TX in Building F, Patrick Payton, officiating.

Please wear Bright colors and Bling in Celebration of a spectacular lady.

Candy was born in Colorado City, Texas to Prentice & Joyce Bass of Snyder, Texas on February 12th, 1948. She graduated from Snyder High School in 1966. "Go Tigers!!!"

She attended the University of Arkansas, attempting to major in Architectural design. She then became licensed as a Dance Master out of New York City in 1968. She opened and operated 5 separate dance studios in Big Spring, Stanton, Lamesa & 2 in San Angelo, Texas for 13 years. She eventually found her true vocation as a Printer and Graphic Artist, while working in that field from 1984 until her death.

She moved to Midland in 1982 to follow the Oil Boom which then collapsed a year later and went to work for her Stepfather Herb Feather of Feather Printing. There she found her true calling and met her True Love, Steve Drummond and married him on November 28th, 1986, in Midland, Texas.

Her favorite Hobby was the Unofficial Greeter for Stonegate Fellowship.

Candy never met a Stranger!!!!

Candy is preceded in death by her parents; Prentice & Joyce Bass and her Brother Joe Bass of Snyder, Texas, Niece Julie Walton of Midland and Cousin Doug Nolen of Midland.

Candy is survived by her Husband Steve Drummond and daughter Tiffany Drummond, her brother Bill Bass of Houston, Sister-in-Law Carol Bass of Snyder, Brother-n-Law Don Drummond of San Antonio and former Sister-n-Law Melissa Bass of Houston; Nieces & Nephews Jamie & Cameron Price of Snyder, Jackie Bass of San Angelo, Kate & Marios Parperis of Tulsa OK, Tanner & Reilly Bass of Houston; Cade & Zane Walton of Midland, numerous great nieces and nephews, Cousins JoAnn Nolen of Midland, John & Heather Echols of Midland; Sally & Vernon Itz of Grapevine and their families.

Pallbearers will be John Echols, Joe Robinson, Perfecto Garcia, Patrick Savary, Randy Smith, Rob Bourland and Bill Sneed. Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Mullinix, Mustapha Ceesay, & members of Don & Minda Parks Community Group.

Memorials may be given to The Life Center of Midland, Texas.

The family of Candy wishes to extend our sincere gratitude to our Stonegate Family and friends who have been with us in these trying times.
