Carla Tyree

Carla Jean Tyree of Odessa, Texas passed away on September 10, 2017 in Midland, Texas.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Larry Hood officiating.

Carla was born in Kermit, Texas to Morris and Helen Webster on February 5, 1952. She married her beloved husband on June 5, 1971. She worked for the Odessa American in her early years but her last and most favorite years were working for County Attorney Tracy Bright as her office administrator and then County Judge Susan Redford as her office administrator.

Carla is preceded in death by her mother, Helen Webster and father, Morris Webster. Also by her dogs that she loved so much, Mitzi and Smoky.

She is survived by her husband, Terry Tyree; daughter, Tiffany Barnes; brother, Daren Webster and his wife Clarissa; brother, Michael Webster and wife Janice; brother, Curtis Webster and his wife, Una, and sister, Marti and Mike Lanier.

Carla was an animal lover all of her life. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Odessa.

The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff at Health South, Midland Memorial Hospital and Hospice. And most of all Irma with Hospice of Midland.

The family of Carla also wish to extend our sincere thanks to all of her wonderful friends and family for all of the support, prayers, thoughts and flowers through these last few years. She was an amazing wife, mother, sister, and aunt. She was loved by everyone that knew her and will be greatly missed.
