Carlos Sarabia

Carlos Santana Sarabia, 41, of Odessa left this world on July 18, 2021, in Lubbock, Texas, after a long illness. Carlos was born on November 4, 1979, in Fort Stockton, Texas.

Carlos had a huge heart and would do anything for his friends and family. His primary passion was music, and he was a very talented guitarist and songwriter but was modest about it. He played in numerous local bands throughout his life. His other passion was for his family. He loved having family together and spending time with his nieces and nephews. Despite his own health issues, he always made sure everyone else was taken care of, especially his mother who he loved dearly.

He was preceded in death by his father Juan Sarabia.

He is survived by his mother Aurelia Dominguez of Odessa; brothers Juan Sarabia Jr. and wife Kathy of Fort Stockton, and Anthony Sarabia of Odessa; sister Star Sarabia of San Angelo; his nieces and nephews Juan, Jesse, and Joseph Sarabia of Fort Stockton, Alexia Natividad of San Angelo, Haley, Haden, Holly, and Heidi Sarabia of Odessa; great-nephew Luke Sarabia of Fort Stockton; grandmother Josephine Perez of Fort Stockton; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, July 23, 2021, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with Reverend Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating.
