Carol Davisson

Carol Saxton Davisson, age 68, of Odessa, TX, passed away on December 10, 2015 in Odessa.

Carol was born on March 20, 1947 to Wilford Saxton and Billie Jeane Degen in Jackson, Mississippi. She was raised in Cleveland, OH and Garland, TX. She went to school in Garland, TX and then attended the University of North Texas. She married Larry Davisson May 25, 1968 at South Minister Presbyterian Church in Garland, TX. Carol worked as a secretary and as a substitute teacher, then as a housewife. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Odessa.

Carol is survived by her husband, Larry Davisson; son, Larry Davisson II and his wife Susie Davisson, grandson, Saxton Davisson; daughter, Lori Davisson-Hughes and her husband, Gavin Hughes, grandson, Foster Hughes; brothers, Curt Saxton and Butch Saxton; numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be at 10:00 am, Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Curtis Brewer Officiating.
