Carol Hamilton

Carol Sue Hamilton, age 74, of Odessa, TX, passed away on April 10, 2018 in Odessa.

A Memorial Service will be at 4:00 pm, Friday, April 13, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating.

Carol was born May 12, 1943 to Robert and Irma Blackson in New Philadelphia, Ohio. She married Virgil Mac Hamilton on February 9, 1982 in Odessa.

Carol was a homemaker for many years and in the 1980's became the credit manager at Dillard's in Odessa. From there she worked at several different jobs. She was very involved in all of her kid's school's as room mother and was also involved deeply in the church.

She loved reading, shopping, sewing and arts and crafts. She never met a stranger and was always supporting those around her.

Carol is survived by her loving husband, Virgil Mac Hamilton; her children, Lynn Emfinger, Mike Dovert and his wife, Jimmie, Deborah Givens and her husband, Keith, Sandy Brooks and her husband Morris, Brenda Tullos; 9 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Carol will be missed but her spirit lives on through all those lucky enough to have known her.
