Carolyn Holmes

Carolyn Elizabeth Holmes, age 87, of Odessa, Texas, passed away on January 12, 2016 in Lewisville, Texas.

Visitation will be Friday, January 15, 2016 at Sunset Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Odessa from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm.

Graveside Funeral Services will be at 1:00 pm, Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Johnny Thomason, Senior Pastor of Life Change Baptist, officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Carolyn Holmes was born in Key West, Florida to Eufamio and Mabel Suarez on January 21, 1928.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband, Britton B. Holmes and two sons, Ronald L. Holmes and James B. Holmes.

Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Darlene Ann Gates and spouse Randi Gates; grandchildren, Stacy Naradovy and husband Bryan, Clint Stuck and wife Brandi, Justin Holmes, Ron Holmes, Jared Holmes, Heather Holmes, and Autumn Hatcher and thirteen great grandchildren.

Memorials may be given to The Alzheimer's Association of Dallas.
