Carolyn Massey

Carolyn Massey, 58, of Odessa, passed away on May 20, 2017 in Odessa.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 27, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Chapel, Reverend Johnny Thomason, officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the direction of Sunset Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.

Carolyn was born in Odessa to Bertha and Lloyd Sebolt on May 11, 1959. She went to school at Odessa. She married Darrell Massey in Odessa. Carolyn worked as a bookkeeper for 25 years. Carolyn was actively involved in her church, Life Change Baptist.

Carolyn loved Home for the Holidays sponsored by the church. Carolyn was also a sporting gun enthusiast and loved to go to the range and shoot her firearms. She also used to own and ride her own Harley.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her father Lloyd, mother Bertha and her brother Larry, father-in-law Jay and mother-in-law Elma.

Carolyn is survived her husband Darrell Massey; brothers Robert, James and Terry; sisters Ellen, Linda, Barbara, and Sharon; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Carolyn Massey's family would like to sincerely thank Becky Natividad, Shari Pruett, and Debbie Hamrick as they are very much loved and appreciated. Thanks for all their love and support.
