Carolyn Taylor

September 24, 1945 — March 8, 2010

Carolyn Sue Suzanne Taylor, age 64, went to be with her best friend, Jesus, on March 8, 2010.

She was born on September 24, 1945 in Odessa, Texas to Alvin N. Dick and Chloa Wood. Suzanne grew up in Odessa and Kingsland, Texas. She met Bill Taylor and blessed her two daughters with a wonderful father and a new little brother. They were married on April 1, 1971. They raised the family in the Dallas area and settled in Odessa. Suzanne took care of the kids while Bill learned the plumbing trade. Suzanne helped establish Rainbow Plumbing with Bill in 1982. In 1990, she finally got her first grandchild to spoil even before she was born. She eventually got five more grandkids and never stopped the spoiling Suzanne took her parenting ability very seriously, all the way from her three children to her six grandchildren. She has left a mark on many people in this town and beyond.

Suzanne was well known for her love of God and the scriptures. She wanted everyone to know who they were in Christ.

Her body may have worn out on her but her spirit will live on forever.

She is survivors include her husband, William Bill Taylor three children, Dicksy Presley and husband Michael, Kelly Fletcher and husband Jason, and Michael Taylor and wife Marialice. Suzanne had two sisters, Billye Howle and Judy Morrison and one brother Dickie Jo Wood. She has six grandchildren, Megan and Dustin Fowler, William and Jessie Presley, and Halle and Ethan Taylor. Suzanne has many nieces and nephews. All who will never forget the many words of wisdom and teachings that she felt she needed to teach.


A Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, March 11, 2010 at Odessa Christian Faith Center, with Pastor Don Caywood officiating.
