Catherine Fischer

Catherine (Kay) Calvert Fischer, 87, died on December 29, 2017.

A celebration of her life will take place at Highland United Methodist Church, 1808 N. Dixie in Odessa on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, please send a memorial gift to the church.

Kay was born on January 11, 1930 in Wichita Falls, TX to Catherine and Roy Calvert. She had four sisters, Judy, Ginger, Helen and Rosemary. S
he graduated from Tyler High School and went on to Tyler Junior College and was an Apache Belle. She transferred to Texas Tech where she
met the love of her life Henry Fischer and they were married for 62 years.

Kay worked for Briley Construction Company for 42 years. She delivered Meals on Wheels and was a member of the American Business Woman's Association.

She is survived by her son Brian of Odessa, daughter Caren and her husband Greg of Aledo, TX, and son Gary and his wife Laura of Wake Forest, NC.
She had two grandsons, Kyle and Matthew of Aledo, TX.
