Charles Lackie

Charles Ellis Lackie Sr. 76 of Odessa passed away on March 31, 2008, at his residence. He was born on June 3, 1931, in Lonoke Ark. to John Benjamin and Ella Lackie. He moved to Odessa in 2005, from Arkansas. He was a maintenance engineer for the Mint Hotel in Las Vegas. He retired from operating engineers.

He is survived by fianc Nerina Christensen; son Charles Lackie II of Odessa; daughters Brenda Brown of Dexter Organ, Nancy Johnson of McConnellsburg PA, Linda Moran of Las Vegas NV; brother Curtis Lackie of Jefferson City, MD; sister Floretta Phillips of Judsonia Ark; 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held on Friday, April 4, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
