Cheryl Glenn

Cheryl Lee Mayfield Glenn, age 69, of Odessa Texas, was called home to Heaven on June 5, 2021.

Celebration of Life services will be at 6:00 PM, Friday, June 18, 2021 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Odessa. Flower arrangements handled by Blooming Rose but in lieu of flowers, we would love a donation to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation made in her name.

Cheryl was born in Kermit, Texas to Wayne Mayfield and Leone Scoggins Mayfield on July 11, 1951. She graduated from high school in Robert Lee, Texas and attended vocational school in Odessa, Texas. She was employed as an executive secretary for many years at Medical Center Hospital, then at West Chem (where she met the love of her life), and then at Parker Heights Christian Church.

She married Michel Glenn on March 30, 1972 in Odessa, Texas and they most recently celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary.

Cheryl is preceded in death by her father, Wayne Mayfield: mother, Leone Scoggins Mayfield: and dear sister-in-law, Patsy Medley.

Cheryl is survived by her loving husband, Michel Glenn: son, Christopher Glenn: daughter, Tamara Glenn: brother, Merle Medley: brother, Robert Mayfield: sister-in-law, Becky Mayfield: and granddaughter, Madisyn Glenn.

The family wants to extend a special thank you to nurses at MCH, ORMC, Buena Vida, and Carrollton Regional Hospital; words cannot express the gratitude we have for you all. From loving and caring for Cheryl in ways that were nothing less than extraordinary, you all extended that same love and care to the rest of our little family, through especially difficult moments. We are so very blessed by you.
