Choi Mar

Choi Keun "Susie" Mar of Odessa, TX, passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2017. She was born in China to Cheung Sum and Oi Chung Wong Chau on February 4, 1945.

Mrs. Mar is survived by her loving husband, Shew Moon, and her two sons, Billy Mar of San Antonio, TX and Danny Mar and his wife, Melissa, of Lubbock, TX. She is also survived by her brother, Bobby Joe, of Odessa, TX, and two sisters, Ching Keun Quon and husband of Ottawa, ON and Shirley Yee and husband of Aurora, CO.

She was married to her husband on July 17, 1971 in Midland, TX. She then resided in Topeka, KS for a couple of years, and then returned to Odessa, TX. During her days, she enjoyed cooking, gardening, needle crafts, and providing a loving home for her family.

It was hard to not notice her wonderful and bright smile and gentle personality.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Friday, July 14, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be at 10:00 am, Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel at 6801 East Business 20 Hwy.
