Chris Wayne Duke

Christopher Duke, 48, of Odessa, passed away on March 30, 2025, in Houston, TX.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, April 6, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 7, 2025, at 10:00 AM, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with Pastor Shane Branecky of Community Bible Church officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Monument Garden. Arrangements are by Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.

Chris was born in Carlsbad, NM, to Charles and Norma Duke on November 16, 1976. He attended school in Odessa, TX, at Permian High School and graduated in 1995. Chris attended Odessa College, Texas Tech, and San Angelo University. He married Candy Duke on March 28, 2015, in Odessa, TX. Chris worked as an IT Manager for Thomas Oilfield Services, having been with the company for seven months.

Chris is survived by his spouse, Candy Duke; children, Corbin and Chloe Duke; sister, Melanie Thomason and husband, David; nieces, Ashlyn and husband BJ Cleere, Alyssa and husband Jameson McPherson; great-nephew and great-niece, Houston, Austyn, Willow, and Audrey; parents, Charles and Norma Duke.

Chris is preceded in death by grandparents, Andrew and Maggie Jackson, Robert and Mary Louise Duke

Pallbearers will be BJ Cleere, Scott Duke, David Jarrett, James McCoy, Craig Padelford, and Michael Tripp.
