Christopher Daniel Barrandey, 52, of Odessa, Texas, passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2022, in Eunice, New Mexico.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 5, 2022, Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with Reverend Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Live stream will be available through www.sunsetodessa.com. Inurnment will be at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Columbarium at later date. Arrangements are by Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral home.
Chris was born Odessa, Texas, to Sandy Davis and Reuben Barrandey on February 10, 1970. He went to school at Permian High School & Manzano High School (Alb, N.M.) He married Kimberly Howell on February 22, 2018, at the Courthouse in Ector County. He was an X-ray Technician for the oilfield.
Chris is preceded in death by his mother, Sandy, his uncle Mike, his Nana Elvira, uncle Floyd, uncle Robert, uncle Dave, uncle Jimmy, aunt Dean, and his grandmother, Helen Irene,
Chris is survived by his wife Kim; stepdaughter, Kaitlyn; stepson, Austin; son, Christopher Dickson Jr; daughter, Christina Collum, brothers; Jacob, Joel, Benjamin; and sister, Monica; father, Reuben; grandchildren, Jace Dickson, Keegan Dickson, Trinity Dickson, Jaxon Collum; stepsisters, Stephanie, Amber, Ashley and numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and life-long friends.
Chris lived life to the fullest, enjoyed fishing, Barbequing, camping, riding his motorcycle, restoring boats, family get-togethers, DALLAS COWBOYS, tattoo’s, family and friends.
Family is requesting in lieu of flowers a donation to the American Cancer Society since his mother passed away from cancer at an early age. His Aunt Dean also succumbed to the disease. His wife is a cancer survivor.
