Christopher Ryan Clay, age 32, of Odessa, passed away Saturday, August 11, 2012 in Ector County.
He was born June 8, 1980 in Odessa to Eddie Clay and Jenny L. Wright Clay. He was a firefighterparamedic for Odessa where he served for six and one half years.
His passion was firefighting and helping others. His hobbies were working on his truck and gun shooting.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Jenny Clay, who passed away November 9, 2011. Survivors include his father, Eddie A. Clay his sister, Jessica L. and husband Daniel Magallanes, Jr. and their son, Daniel Austin Magallanes, who was also Chris God son, of Midland two children, Tyler Ryan Clay and Madisyn Paige Clay, both of Odessa grandfather, Clyde A. Howard of Odessa grandparents, David and Liz Clay of Odessa great uncle Wayne Chester of Odessa and his dog, Maddie.
Visitation with the family will be 68 PM Wednesday, August 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Thursday, August 16, 2012 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Jimmy Braswell officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Odessa Firemen, Chief, Kavin Tinney, Captain Hugh Koenig, Captain Larry Norrid, Travis Jones, Ray Evora, and Noah Wright. Honorary pallbearers will be Daniel Blue and Verle Pearce.
