Christopher Roedel

Christopher Kayden Roedel was born in Odessa August 9, 2004 to Violet K. Bolen and Don Michael Roedel.

Christopher went to be with the Lord, Sunday, December 13, 2009. He was five years old. Christopher has lived in the MidlandOdessa area all his life. He attended Noel Magnet Elementary school where he was in Kindergarten.

Christopher was full of life and very energetic, he loved the outdoors, parks, playgrounds, and the duck pond. He enjoyed music from Kids Bop to toddler tunes. He liked riding his scooter and listening to his CD player. He liked catching butterflies with his net and would put them in his bug cage. He would lift up rocks looking for bugs, wasnt afraid of any. He loved animals; his pets were cats, dogs, turtles and fish. He was 100 all boy, very loving and shared with all.

He was preceded in death by his granddad, Theodore Roedel, Jr.; grandpa, Charles V. Snodgrass; grandparents, George and Jolene Hash.

Survivors include:

His mother, Violet K. Bolen; four brothers, Casey and Allen Allingham, Adein Pena, Dale Bolen, Jr., all of Odessa; grandma, Linda Snodgrass; aunt Shana Snodgrass of Midland; aunt Charlet and uncle Charles Snodgrass of Conroe, Texas.

His father Don M. Roedel; nannie, Elizabeth Roedel; aunt Suzanne Roedel; uncle Joe and aunt Dawn Roedel, all of Odessa.

His step-father, Dale Bolen of Odessa, grandparents, Paul and Shirley Jurick of Midland; aunt Dana and uncle David Murphy of Monahans; and his special friend, Randy Smith. There are too many cousins to list.

Christopher will be leaving lots of memories for his family and friends that loved him dearly.

Visitation with the family is from 6-8 pm on Friday December 18, 2009 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 am Saturday morning, December 19, 2009 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, with Jimmy Braswell officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
