Christopher Smart

Christopher Alan Smart was born on March 24, 1975, in Ft. Collins, Colorado to Larry Smart and Sandra Stain Smart.
They soon returned to the MidlandOdessa area, where Chris was raised. He attended Emerson Elementary, Goddard and Lee High School. Chris loved music, fishing, all animals, his family and the Dallas Cowboys. He was a loving, funny and generous person and was always willing to help anyone who needed it. Chris was predeceased by his paternal grandparents James and Ann Smart and his maternal grandfather Charles Stain.
He is survived by his parents, his beloved daughters Ashley Smart and Kayla
Byrne, sisters Amy Nash Hassan of Atlanta, Ga, and her daughter Caitlin and sister Becky Smart of Dallas. Also his maternal grandmother Mary Stain, uncle Chris Smart, aunt Beverly Monroe, uncle Gary Stain Leslie, cousins James, Jeremy and Jon Monroe, Kristin Luft and Shelley Fietz.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 27, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Sunset
Memorial Gardens in Odessa, TX. with Pastor David Newton officiating. The family requests donations to a local animal shelter or a charity of your choice, in lieu of flowers.
