Clara Latham

Clara Louise Latham, 96, of Odessa, TX, passed away on April 17, 2014 in Texarkana, TX.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, April 22, 2014 At Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Louise, the oldest of five children, was born in Hoovers Valley, Burnet County, TX in 1917 to Annie Hoover and Maurice Lappe. After growing up in Burnet, she married Clarence Edward Latham Sr. in Eden, TX in 1937. They had two sons, Clarence Edward Ed Latham Jr., and Walter Maurice Latham. Louise owned and operated the Eden Beauty Shop for 8 years. After World War II, they moved to Odessa in 1949 and joined the First United Methodist Church. She enjoyed painting and fishing.
Louise was preceded in death by her husband Ed Latham Sr., and her son, Ed Latham, JR. Survivors include her son, Walter Latham three grandchildren, Eddie Latham and John Latham of Austin, TX, and David Latham of Texarkana, TX Five greatgrandchildren and several nieces and nephews
