Clarence Brown

Clarence Brown, age 75, of Gardendale, TX, passed away on October 28, 2016 in Gardendale.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 pm, Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am, Friday, November 4, 2016 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Larry Hood, officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Clarence Brown was born in Doddridge, Arkansas to Richard and Stella Brown on May 27, 1941. He worked as a mechanic/truck driver at Roper Equipment until he retired. Retirement wasn't for him so he looked for a part-time job at Pradon Construction where he could work 50-60 hours a week.

Clarence is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Stella Brown; sisters, Louise Dawkins, and Faye Carol Clevenger.

He is survived by his daughters, Mary Stephens and husband Kyle, Glinda Hubbard; brother, Don Brown and wife Louise; sister, Joann Hickson; grandchildren, Wesley Harris, Lance Hubbard and wife Emilly, Brett Stephens, Jeremy Harris and wife Caroline, Larissa Hubbard and Kailea Stephens; great grandchildren, Blair, Coy, Kasen and Kennedy.

He was a hardworking man who loved his family and he will be greatly missed, he never would say goodbye it was just, "see you later".
