Clarence Kull

January 4, 1928 — April 23, 2016

Clarence Edwin Kull, age 88, of Odessa, Texas, passed away on April 23, 2016 in Odessa.

Ed was born January 4, 1928 in Paynsville, Mississippi, to Jacob Ira and Ira Odell Kull. Clarence was raised in various places, and in 1947 he joined the Marines. He retired as a pipeline contractor after many years. After retirement Ed served as Vice President of Kermit State Bank, served as Executive Director of Rocky Mountain Pipeline Contractor Association. In the early 50's Ed served on the Odessa Police Force, he had many different and enjoyable jobs in his life and had only good things to say about the organizations he worked with. He was also a member of Asbury United Methodist Church for many years. He and Mary did Meals on Wheels and Ed helped raise funds for the YMCA, and Ed was a strong supporter of Various missions in the Odessa area.

He is preceded in death by stepbrother Joe Don, stepdad Ted, mother Anna Odell, son Kerry, daughter Hopie and Maggie.

He is survived by wife Mary, sister Andi Bernat, stepdaughter Jamie, stepson Wendell and wife Kathy 15 grandchildren and numerous extended family he loved very much.

Funeral services will be at 1:00pm Monday 25, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Chapel with Russ Nebhut officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
