Claudie Arends

Claudie M. Arends, 94 years young, of Odessa, Texas passed away on May 8, 2021 in Odessa, Texas.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Reverend Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating.  This will be a Graveside service.  Arrangements are by Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.

Claudie M. Arends was born in Deleon, Texas to R.C. Dennis and Minnie Lee Kirk Dennis on June 25, 1926.  Claudie attended school in Gorman, Texas.  Claudie M. Dennis married Clarence L. Arends on January 23, 1946 in Brownwood, Texas.

Claudie M. Arends is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence L. Arends; sister, Jesse Duke; sister, Lorene White; son, Dennis Arends, Sr.; son, Kenneth Arends and his wife, Linda Arends; and granddaughter, Carolyn Torvik.

Claudie M. Arends is survived by daughter, Janice M. Stephens and her husband, Marty Stephens; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.

The family of Claudie M. Arends wish to thank Home Hospice, St. Joseph’s Home Health Care, and Courtyard’s Memory Unit for all the care and understanding they gave to Claudie M. Arends on her last days with us.
