Clint Duane Barsch, 32 of Odessa, TX, passed away at home after a long battle with cancer on Saturday, April 19, 2014.
Visitation will be Monday, April 21, 2014 from 6 8 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Hood officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the direction of Sunset Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
Clint was born on June 8, 1981 in San Antonio, TX to Sherry Olson Jackson and Frank Barsh. He was raised in Odessa by his dadmom Calvin and Sherry Jackson. He attended Odessa High School and worked as a warehouse delivery driver at Wagner Supply until he could no longer work.
Clint was an outgoing person who loved life and never met a stranger. He was an avid golfer and hunter who loved to fish. He played in many tournaments with his dad who was also his best friend. He accomplished two hole in ones in his life and left a mark on everyone he came across. He loved entertaining and singing Garth. His laugh will forever be one of the best sounds in the world.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Pauline Jackson, Grandmother Alice Olson, Cousin Robert Olson, uncles Marvin and Terry Jackson.
He is survived by his parents Calvin and Sherry Jackson, brother Blake Jackson and wife Stacy, niece Preslee Jackson, halfbrother Justin Barsch of MA., grandfather Gene Olson and his wife Sue of Lytle, TX, aunt Nay and uncle Jack Gardner of Odessa, aunt Brenda and uncle Eric Granberg of Lytle, TX, uncle Jimmy and wife Norma Olson of Lytle, TX, aunts Reba Flinn and Nita Gardenhire of OK, aunt Sharon Pilgrim of Lytle, TX, uncle Eric and wife Jessica of Odessa, cousins Stacy Higgins, Paul Granberg, , Tyler Gardner, Dawn Shoenfeld, Trinity Jackson, Brandon Barsch, Landon, and Goddaughter Chasadea Cox. Clint also has many close friends, nieces and nephews who will miss him.
Pall bearers will be Paul Granberg, Tyler Gardner, Heath Lentz, Mitch Bundick, Michael Flippin, Curtis Cox, Nick Fraley, and Adam Johnson. Honorary pallbearers are Brian Gardner, Jody Wood, Zach Fraley and John Ellison.
Memorials may be made to Home Hospice of Odessa, TX and The West Texas Cancer Center.
