Connie Brown

Connie Renee Brown was born in Hobbs, New Mexico December 18, 1956, Daughter of the late Harvey and Dorothy Holcomb. Renee spent most of her life in Odessa, Texas where she was united in marriage to Gary William Brown on October 6, 1989. Renee and Gary have made their home in Drumright for the past six years. Renee was an avid outdoors person, loving boating, fishing and gardening. Renee died May 28, 2011 at the age of 54 years.

She is survived by her loving husband, Gary, of the home stepson Chris Brown and his wife, Julie, Odessa, Texas brothers, Scott Holcomb, Ft. Worth and Hugh Holcomb, Odessa, Texas her stepbrother, Wayne stepmother, Helen Holcomb, Dallas Texas grandchildren, Austin and Braxton Brown, Odessa, Texas stepmother and fatherinlaw, Claire and Jack Badger, Drumright, Oklahoma aunt Joyce of Conroe, Texas and uncle Raymond Holcomb of Washington State.

Visitation with the family will be 68 PM Thursday, June 2, 2011 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, June 3, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel, with Larry Hood officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
