Cora Jessen

Cora Lou Jessen, age 80, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at her home in Burleson, TX, surrounded by her loving family.

Cora was born on February 11, 1936 in Clovis, New Mexico. She was a seamstress and she loved to make beautiful quilts.

Cora is preceded in death by her husband, Fred Jessen and sisters, Jan Hibben and Blanche Edwards.

She is survived by her brother, Pat Vinson and wife, June, sister, Mary Thomas, brother, John Vinson and wife, Jeannie, sister, Dorothy Shumacher and husband, Gene, brother, Bob Vinson, son, Terry Edwards and wife, Robin Edwards, daughter, Sherry Henry and husband, John Henry, daughter, Carla Woodson, daughter, Sonya Ruiz and husband, Ruben Ruiz; 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Graveside Services will be at 1:00 pm, Friday, May 6, 2016 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Reverend Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating.
