Coretta Jones

Tiny Jones went to be with her Savior after a 5 year battle with Alzheimers on Monday, October 14, 2013. At the time of death she was residing at Legacy Ranch under the care of some of the most precious and caring people on Earth.

Tiny was born Coretta V. Pullen on December 27, 1919, to Lewis and Ella Pullen in Dallas, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband Floyd C. Jones, who died November 8, 1981, and her son, Mike Jones on February 24, 2003.

She is survived by her son Ronald Dane Jones of Odessa and her adopted grandson, Dr. Kenny Border, his wife Mendi and their children Brynlee and Boston of Shallowater, Texas.

Tiny was quite popular and famous in the local area as a gifted gospel singer, singing at churches and at many funerals.

The last funeral she will sing on this earth will be her own on Thursday, October 17, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel, with Gayle Reeves officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be 68 PM Wednesday, October 16, 2013 in Sunset Funeral Home.
