Corina Rubio

Corina Molinar Rubio, 74, of Odessa passed away Saturday, October 5, 2013 in her home surrounded by loved ones. She was born June 18, 1939 in Presidio, Texas. She married Enrique Rubio on September 16, 1956 and they were happily married for 57 years.

For many years she worked in the dry cleaning business and eventually owned A1 Cleaners where she had many loyal customers throughout the years. We are not sure where she found the time for she was a lady who had many talents and hobbies. She loved gardening, sewing, cooking holiday dinners and spending quality time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents Mariano and Carolina Molinar and brother Jose Molinar.

Those left to cherish her memory are husband Enrique Rubio sons Henry Rubio, Jr and wife Kathy and Edward Rubio both of Odessa daughters Aurora Mendoza and husband Mario of Colorado Springs, CO, Linda Martinez and husband Manuel and Jo Ann Aranda and husband Mike all of Odessa 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren brothers Daniel Molinar from Lubbock, Lalo Molinar from Odessa, and Isauro Molinar of Midland and sister Maria Alvarez from Presidio.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at St. Josephs Catholic Church with burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens. A Rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, October 7, 2013 at Sunset Memorial Gardens Chapel.
