Cory Green

Cory Ray Green, 25, of Odessa went to be with his Lord on August 4, 2014 in Odessa.

Visitation will be from 128 PM on Thursday, August 7, 2014 with family viewing from 68 PM at Sunset Funeral Home.

A Memorial Service will take place on Friday, August 8, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Don Caywood officiating. There will no graveside services.

Cory was born on November 27, 1988 in Odessa, Texas. Cory attended Permian High School where he excelled in football as a proud Panther

Cory was a beloved and devoted member of Odessa Christian Faith Center. He was an amazing Christian who loved to share God with every person he met. Cory had extraordinary musical gifts of playing the guitar, writing music singing praises to God, especially for his family friends. Cory touched many lives with his compassionate and humble heart, his contagious smile and witty personality, always wanting to help others before himself. He loved God, his family and he loved both of his daughters with all of his heart. They were the apples of his eye.

Cory is survived by his daughters Gwendolyn Green and her mother Tara Duley, of Odessa, daughter Rayleigh Barnes, of Odessa. Parents, Steve Karen Green, of Odessa. Four sisters Crystal Holm, of Rowlett Nicole Terrell, of Shallowater, Candace Green, of Odessa Crystal Kunkle, of Odessa. Five nieces Halie, Peyton, Brailey, Aspen and Nina, eight nephews, Cody, Landon, Barak, Josh, Caleb, Braxtun, Brysen Beckem, grandparents, Joe and Dixie Payne, of Odessa, Harold and Betty Green, of Anton.
