Creonne Faye Burrow 87 of Arlington, and formally of Odessa died February 13, 2009 in Arlington. Creonne was born July 17, 1921 in Wills Point, Texas to James and Effie Powell. She was married to Para PeeWee Burrow in Hobbs, New Mexico on April 20, 1940. He preceded her in death May 5, 2001. They moved to Odessa in 1942. Mrs. Burrow was formerly employed for many years with American Bank of Commerce in Odessa, retiring in 1986. She was a member of American Business Womens Club for 30 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Effie M. Sanders Powell and James C. Powell; two brothers, Harold Powell and James C. Powell, Jr.; three sisters, Maxell Powell Browning, Adelle Powell Sullivan and Daphine Powell Kitterman.

Survivors include her sister-in-law, Bobbye Powell of Arlington; nephews, Blair Kitterman and Jimmy Kitterman of Arlington, Christopher Powell of Odessa, Craig Powell of Denver, Colorado, and Ken Griffin of Odessa; nieces, Shirley Watson of Jacksboro, Texas, Nancy Baker of Dallas, Kay Hachtel of Odessa and Sandra Rathbun of Denver, Colorado; and numerous grand nieces and nephews.

Graveside services for Creonne Faye Burrow will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at Sunset Memorial Gardens, with Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 7:00 PM Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
