Crystal Leatherwood

Crystal Leatherwood (Coco), 27, passed away on Friday, September 9, 2022, at home in Odessa, TX.

She was born on January 30, 1995, to Shala and Danny O’Neal. She married Nathaniel Leatherwood in 2014. She worked as a bartender and enjoyed being surrounded by family and friends. The brightest light in her life was being a mother to her daughter and son.

She is survived by her two children, Lily and Oliver: her mother and stepfather, Shala and Rickey Dennis of Odessa; sister and brother-in-law, Courtney O’Neal and Toby Daniels of Odessa; father and stepmother, Danny and Tanya O’Neal of Odessa; grandparents, Leah and Larry Staples of Odessa, and Barbara and J.D. O’Neal of San Antonio; four stepsisters, and eight nieces and nephews.

A memorial service organized by Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2022, at 10:00 AM, preceded by a viewing on Wednesday evening, September 14, 2022, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
