Dalton Doyal Rhodes, 20 years old, from Roswell, NM, passed away on March 28, 2017 in Corpus Christi, TX.
Visitation will be Monday, April 3rd from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home at 6801 E. Business 20 in Odessa, TX 79762.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 4th at 10:00 am at Sunset Memorial Funeral Chapel with Pastor Aaron Colyer of the First Baptist Church of Roswell, officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the direction of Sunset Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.
Dalton was born on January 30, 1997 to Adam and Brook Rhodes. He graduated from Goddard High School in Roswell, NM. He was known for his kind heart and his ability to make people feel like they belonged. He loved to draw and show off his sweet BMX skills.
He is preceded in death by Great Grandfather, Gaylon Townsend, Grandparents Tommy and Donna Townsend, Great Grandparents, Milton and Myrtice Townsend and Jay and Maxine Cox, Aunt Brenda Townsend Manos and Cousin Rhiannyn Rhodes.
He is survived by Parents, Adam and Brook Rhodes, sister Cheyenne Rhodes and brother Talon Rhodes of Roswell, NM, Great grandmother Zelda Townsend and grandmother Barbara Rogers of Odessa, TX; uncles, aunts, and cousins, Tommy Townsend, Jr, his wife Melissa, children Tommy, Dylan & Danna of Corpus Christi, TX, Becky Townsend and her daughter Jacki of Nashville, TN, Lynda Tucker and her daughter Emerson of Odessa, TX, Aaron Rhodes, his wife Teresa, children Landyn, Warner & Maverick of Flowermound, TX and Zeb Rogers of Odessa, TX, Scott Manos and his daughters Amie and Sierra of Animas, NM as well as several great uncles, aunts and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Talon Rhodes, Cheyenne Rhodes, Tommy Townsend, Dylan Townsend, Danna Townsend, Landyn Rhodes, Warner Rhodes, Maverick Rhodes, Tanner Marker, Emerson Tucker, and Jacki Williams.
Honorary pallbearers are Jeremiah Townsend, Tessa Townsend, Brynn Clinton, Raylynn Clinton, Amie Manos & Sierra Manos.
