DAN FORD, 63

Danny Mack Ford, age 63, passed away on November 27, 2015 at his home in Flint, Texas with family surrounding him.

He was born on October 13, 1952 in Altus, Oklahoma to Glen and Maxine Ford. After moving to Odessa, Texas he graduated from Permian High School in 1971. Learning the family business of installing and repairing garage doors Dan worked with his father and even ran his own business until 1985 when he switched careers and worked for Executive Leasing until 1997 when he retired.

Dan married Constance Albert Perkins in 1986 in Odessa, Texas. They were married for 29 years. Dan and Connie were members of Golf Course Road Church of Christ and then Shiloh Road Church of Christ when they moved to Flint, Texas in 2012.

He loved cars, especially Buicks and enjoyed racing the cars he restored. One of his most memorable trips was when he was invited to take his 1972 Buick Skylark Convertible on the Cross Country Hot Rod Power Tour. He also enjoyed fishing and spending time with his Grandsons.

Dan is preceded in death by his mother, Maxine Ford.

Dan is survived by his wife, Connie Ford; his daughter, Deanna Keese and husband Scott; grandchildren, Lucas and Noah Keese; step-son, Mick Perkins; step-granddaughter, Lennon Loralei; father, Glen Ford; sister, Sandra Patrick and husband Bruce; brothers, Larry Ford, Monte Ford and his wife Kathy; and many other relatives.

Visitation will be at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home from 5:00pm-7:00pm, Thursday, December 3, 2015.

Funeral Services will be at 10:00am, Friday, December 4, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Tim Baugh officiating.
