Daniel Bratton

Daniel Jarrod Bratton, age 31, of Odessa, TX, passed away on September 14, 2015 in Odessa.

Daniel was born on March 7, 1984 to Barry Bratton and Sharilyn Bratton in Odessa, TX. He was a Permian High School graduate who worked various jobs after graduation as well as attending culinary classes at Odessa College. He loved to cook and was an avid reader; he was interested in philosophy, classic literature and spiritual studies. His favorite author was Mark Twain and he considering himself a recent Christian convert with Buddhist leanings. As well as poetry, Daniel was an expert in video game trivia, who loved discussing gaming online and playing video games. He was a loyal friend who tried to help everyone he met. He contributed to many charities and was a loving son, grandson and brother.

His parents, Barry Bratton and Sharilyn Bratton, grandmother, Nelda Bratton, sisters, Alyssa of Frisco, TX and Marissa as well as many other relatives, survive him. He will be sorely missed.

Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM, Thursday, September 17, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Andrew Arp of Church of the Nazarene officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
