Daniel Cobos

Daniel Jesus Cobos, 17 passed away at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa, TX on October 22, 2010. He was born on December 16, 1992 to Jesus Cobos and Mary Carol Riggs in Odessa, TX.

He was a loving father to Bentley, his son with Brittany Hodges, loyal to family and friends, and shared a special relationship with his uncle Bobby. He loved spending time with his Granny Bessie and excelled in his role as Man of the house always protective of his mother Carol Riggs who he dearly loved. Very inquisitive, Daniel often took things apart just to see how they worked.

He is preceded in death by his greatgrandfather, Stephen J. Riggs of Odessa and his grandfather, Warren D. Flowers of Odessa.

Survivors: mother, Mary Carol Riggs of Odessa, TX father, Jesus Jose Cobos and wife Barbara son, Bentley Cobos with Brittany Hodges brothers, Jarod, Dylan and Dalton Ehrenberg and Jesse Cobos, aunts, Edna Cavanaugh, Cora Lopez, Nancy Lopez and Dolores Galvez uncles, Bobby Riggs, Michael Aguero and Ronald Ham cousins, Brad, Tammy, Stephanie and Tiffany Miller, Garrett Brannan, Amanda Davis, Emilie Hawk, Cody Davis, Kate Armstrong, Matthew, Ashley and David Cagle and Joshua Lopez grandparents, Nana Joyce and Anna and husband Arturo Medina and Mary Ham and Jesus Cobos Sr. and Bessie Riggs.

Visitation will be at 68 PM, Monday, October 25, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be at 4:00 PM, Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Robert Lamb officiating.
