Daniel Davis

Daniel Ray Davis, 78 years old, of Odessa Texas, passed away on December 29, 2018 at 8:20 pm in Midland, TX.

Raymond and Marjorie Davis had Daniel at 11:50 a.m. on May 29th, 1940 in Des Moines, IA. He was the oldest of 4 children, Michael, Doreen, and Patty. Daniel attended Des Moines Technical High School and graduated on June 5th, 1958. He joined the Air Force in July 1958 and served as an Emergency Medical Technician under the Strategic Air Command until May of 1962. After his service in the Air Force, Daniel attended Drake University studying Architecture. He had 4 children, Scott, Mitchell, Kevin, and Rebecca from a previous marriage when he married Peggy Goodson in October 1980. Daniel came to know the Lord in 1984 and proceeded to leading his children to Christ the same year. Daniel and Peggy remained happily married for 38 years until Jesus called him home on December 29th, 2018.

Daniel was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Michael.

He is survived by his wife Peggy, his 3 sons Scott, Mitchell, Kevin, his daughter Rebecca, and 10 grandchildren: Mackenzie, Kaitlyn, Lindsey, Garrett, Noah, Andrew, Lainey, Avery, Addison, and Logan.
Memorial services will be held at Sunset Memorial Chapel on January 12th, 2019 at 1 pm.
