Danny Galle

Danny Edwin Galle, age 66, of Odessa passed from this life Wednesday, September 14, 2022, in Odessa. He was born June 20, 1956, in Denver City, TX, to D.E. and Marie Galle.

Danny retired from EI Paso Natural Gas in the Communications Department after 34 years. He retired for 2 years and went to work for Enterprise Products, retiring after 4 years. Danny was a member of the NRA and the American Trap Association. He was a Christian and member of the Church of Christ. Danny and his wife have spent the last nine years supporting their grandson Jacob and his soccer team, following them to most of their games. He enjoyed spending time with family, riding motorcycles, water skiing, and jet skiing.

The Galle/Snyder families met over the last 30 years at the Valentine Lakeside Resort. Family members from Carlsbad, NM, joined in, Danny's uncle Jere and wife Darlyne with their children and grandchildren.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 45 years, Vickilyn Galle of Odessa; one daughter, Shanna Galle Ortalejo and husband Jose of Odessa; one Brother, Ronnie Galle, and wife Belinda of Kermit; and two grandchildren, Jacob, and Alyssa Ortalejo.

He was preceded in death by his parents, D. E., and Marie Galle.

A memorial service is going to be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 17, 2022, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home in Odessa, Texas, with David Whitaker officiating. We wish to extend our sincere thanks to Interim Healthcare Hospice, especially Michelle Juarez.
