Danny Wilkins

Danny Lee Wilkins, age 52, of Odessa, passed away in Dallas, Wednesday July 20, 2011 after a brief illness.

He was born September 21, 1958 in Hereford, Texas to Leroy Wilkins and Marie Hunter Wilkins. He was a long time employee of Jones Brothers Dirt and Paving. Danny was generous with his time and consideration for others. He loved his time spent hunting with his friends and their families.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leroy Wilkins.

Survivors include his mother, Marie Wilkins brother, Mike Wilkins and wife Cynthia of Plano sister, Brenda Peterson and husband Lloyd of Lake Jackson and their children, Courtney Vierya, Brice, Austin and Dalton.

Visitation with the family will be 68 PM Friday, July 22, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home. Services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday, July 23, 2011 at Bethany Christian Church with Keith Gibbons and John Meisenbach officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

The family wishes to extend special appreciation to the management and coworkers of Jones Brothers Dirt and Paving for their kindness during this difficult time.
