Darlene Lane

Darlene McKinley Lane, born to Juanita and Preston McKinley September 6, 1944 went home to the Lord on April 8, 2012 Easter Sunday.

She was born in Odessa, Texas where she married the love of her life Charles Lane on September 28, 1963.

In addition to being a wonderful wife and domestic engineer she also worked with her mother in the family restaurant for several years. She and Charles retired to Colorado City, TX in 1995.

She was a tremendous christian and disciple for Christ spreading His word.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Charles Lane, daughters, Penny Scott of Roanoke, TX, Patty Hunt of Odessa, TX, and Kelly and husband Scott Sachse of Ft. Worth, TX 5 grandchildren, Kyle Scott, Morgan and husband Jerry Caudillo, Justen Hunt, Cydney and Taylor Sachse and 2 great grandchildren, Elijah and Nina.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Jimmy Braswell officiating.

In lieu of flowers, she would love for any donations to be made to the Door of Hope in Odessa.
