DAVID C. CHAPMAN (DAVE)

Dave Chapman, age 81, passed away January 16, 2017 after a long and difficult battle with cancer.

Dave was born in Winterset, Iowa, on June 11, 1935, to Ralph and Ruth Chapman, finished high school and then joined the Air Force where he served his country for 9 years. Upon return he went to work for the telephone company. He then worked as a plant operator and safety inspector for El Paso Products Company, Rexene and Huntsman and retired from there after 25 years.

He is survived by his wife Sherry, daughter, Sylvia and husband Steve King, son David, Jr., and wife Leanora, daughter Allison and husband Ray Bell, 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, his sister Mina Chapman and brother, John Chapman.

Per his wishes, he will be cremated and there will be no funeral. His ashes will be interred at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Arrangements are entrusted to Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.
