David King

Pastor David Ray King, age 64, of Odessa, TX, passed away on February 19, 2021 at Medical Center Hospital.

David was born November 26, 1956 to Frank and Zera King, both of Odessa, TX.

Pastor David King pastored at Beacon Pentecostal Light House for 5 years.  He was employed at Cudd Energy for 18 years before he retired.  David loved preaching the Word of God and he loved to sing.  He had his hobbies of fishing, camping and the love of traveling.

David is preceded in death by his father, Frank King; and mother, Zera King.

Survivors include two sons, Courtney King and Corey King, both of Odessa; and a very special friend, Barbara Dillard of Odessa, TX.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.  Those officiating are Reverend Jerome Campbell, Pastor Gail Waters, and Pastor Dayle Leonard.

Pallbearers will be Rick, Raymond, Walter and Dayle.
