Dean Mark Chandler, 43, of Odessa passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2012 in Odessa, Texas.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at the Sunset Funeral Home with Bishop Brian Gwilliam officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Dean was born in Odessa to Billy and Mary Chandler on April 14, 1969. He lived in Odessa all of his life and attended Odessa High. He had three children whom he loved dearly. He worked for UTEX for sixteen years and excelled at sales. He enjoyed golf, football, fishing, softball, basketball and hunting. He was very competitive and talented at each of these. He loved spending time with his family.
He was a son, a brother, a father, grandfather and a friend to so many that will miss him.
Dean is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Clyde Chandler and Lena Mae Chandler, and his maternal grandparents, Juan DeLeon and Fransisca Rivera.
He is survived by his children, Britney and Dustin, and their mother Jerri Brooke and her mother Brenda brothers, Brandon, Jared and Steven sisters, Kendra and Karen parents, Billy and Mary Chandler infant grandson, Chandler and special friend, Marianne.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Chandler, Steven Chandler, Jared Chandler, Dustin Chandler, Armando Cano, Hector Sanchez Jr., Ian Chandler and Martin Campos.
