Dean Chinn

Dean Alan Chinn, age 53, of Odessa passed away Thursday, August 25, 2011 in Odessa.

He was born May 19, 1958 in Grand Junction, Colorado to Bernard Reginald Chinn and Uella Evelyn Jones. He grew up in Cedaredge, Colorado before moving to Phoenix, Arizona, where he graduated from the Automotive Institute. He worked as a mechanic in several cities, before moving to Odessa in 1991. He worked several jobs in Odessa with his most recent job as a Supervisor at Battery Technology.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his sister, Lori Spivey and husband Juan his brother, David Chinn and wife Shelley nieces and nephews, Justin Slaughter and wife Fritzi, Jeffrey Slaughter and wife Emily GeisickSlaughter, and Brandon Slaughter and Jessica Boyce, Chenoa Slaughter and Shane Stockton, DreAnna Spivey, Marcee Stewart and husband Matt, Benjamin Chinn great nieces and nephews, Justin Slaughter Jr., Isabelle Slaughter, Emma Slaughter, Kalleigh Stockton, Gracee Stewart, Max Stewart, and Gabriella Stewart.

Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00pm Sunday, September 4, 2011, at Antioch Christian Church with Matt Wilson officiating. Burial will be scheduled at a later date in Cedaredge, Colorado.
