Dean Wicklander

Dean Robert Wicklander, age 80, of Odessa, passed away Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Hospice House in Odessa.

He was born on March 31, 1932 in Roseau, Minnesota to Melvin and Gladys Wicklander. He was a retired drywall installer. He enjoyed deer hunting and fishing.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Joan Wicklander his parents, Melvin and Gladys Wicklander brother, Melvin Wicklander, Jr. soninlaw, David Carlson grandson, Christopher Carlson and great granddaughter, Destiny Sweeden, all of whom are waiting with open arms to greet him.

He is survived by his son, Ryan Wicklander and wife Lisa of Odessa daughter, Ronell Carlson of Odessa brother, Ervin Wicklander of Colgate, Wisconsin grandsons, Ryan Wicklander, Jr. and wife Suzy of Odessa, Justin Carlson and wife Dawn of Odessa, Cory Carlson, Shane Wicklander, Jr., Alyssa Wicklander, Jacob Bolder, and Jordon Bolder, all of Odessa Kyler Mallory of Kerrville, Texas and great grandchildren, Desaray Deal, Elizabeth Little, Ryleigh Lutsi and Kylie Johnson all of Odessa.

Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, December 4, 2012 from 68 PM at Sunset Funeral Home. Services will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Jimmy Braswell officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Justin Carlson, Kenneth Little, Cory Carlson, Ryan Wicklander, Shane Wicklander and Shawn Watten.
