Deborah Lea

Deborah Sue Lea, 57 of Odessa, TX, passed away on July 27, 2017 in Odessa, TX.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 30, 2017 from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Chapel.

Memorial services will be held Monday, July 31, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Dr. Jimmy Braswell of St. Andrew Cumberland Presbyterian, officiating.

Debbie was born in Anaheim, CA on January 28, 1960. She is the cherished daughter of Sandra and Jonie Hartman. Debbie graduated from Odessa High School in 1978. On March 21, 1987, Debbie married the love of her life, Bobby Lea. Debbie worked for Odessa College for 29 years, where she was very involved in OSC and the Wrangler Club. Debbie enjoyed doing "Citizens on Patrol" alongside her husband for 20 years! Debbie was also actively involved in the church, working in the nursery for years, preparing meals, and serving as an Elder.

Debbie Lea is preceded in death by her mother Sandra Hartman, her aunt Shirley Hamilton, father-in-law Robert E. Lea, Jr. and her mother-in-law Maxine Lea.

Debbie is survived by her loving husband Bobby Lea, her sisters Cindy Weatherford and her husband Terry and Pam Ritchie; her children Stephen Lea and his wife LeeAnne, Kimberly McCain and her husband Joe, Jonie Driggars and her husband Sheldon, and Jamie Halsell and her husband Bryan; 6 beautiful grandchildren that she adored, numerous nieces and nephews and too many friends to list.
